- A roll of low-tack painter's masking tape
How to do it
Apply a straight line of colored tape across an open patch of floor.
Hold your toddler's hand and walk along the tape placing one foot in front of the other.
Add storytelling: 'Careful! Don't step off the bridge into the water!'
Try walking sideways or tiptoeing along the line as they grow more confident.
