What you need
- A wide steel thaali/plate
- Uncooked rice or moong dal
- Small cups and spoons
How to do it
Spread a large cotton bedsheet on the floor, placing a wide steel plate in the center.
Pour 2 cups of dry moong dal or uncooked rice into the tray.
Provide small steel katoris, spoons, and a couple of small plastic animals.
Show how to scoop grains into a cup and let them trickle out between fingers.
When finished, invite your toddler to hold a small dustpan and sweep the sheet together.
