How to do it
During the evening wind-down, bring out baby's beloved soft toy.
Say: 'Bear looks sleepy. Shall we tuck him in for the night?'
Let toddler lay the toy on a pillow and cover it with a small cloth napkin.
Encourage a gentle pat and soft 'Goodnight, Bear. See you in the morning.'
