Why this matters
Gentle visual tracking of a floating dupatta coordinates both eyes smoothly, soothing the nervous system during wake windows.
What you need
- A light cotton or chiffon dupatta
How to do it
Sit baby up (or lay on their back) on a comfortable play mat.
Hold two corners of a lightweight dupatta and have a partner hold the other two (or hold both in wide arms).
Gently billow the fabric up to the ceiling, then float it down slowly.
Let the airy fabric brush softly across baby's arms and toes.
